We’re thrilled to introduce HelpWire’s Unattended Remote Access! This powerful feature allows operators to connect to remote computers and devices without needing the client’s presence. Once the initial permissions are set, you can access the remote endpoint at any time—even if it’s idle or logged out—as long as it’s powered on and connected to the internet.

Note: Unattended Remote Access is currently in testing to evaluate server performance under heavy use. During this phase, users can connect to an unlimited number of unattended endpoints. After testing concludes, limits on unattended devices per user will be introduced.

How to Set Up Unattended Remote Access


Setting up Unattended Remote Access is simple and fast:


  1. Log in to your HelpWire account.

  2. Send the HelpWire Client app link to the remote client as usual.

  3. The client downloads and installs the HelpWire Client on their device.

  4. From your HelpWire Operator app, initiate a remote connection.

  5. The client approves the connection, enabling the session.

  6. In the Web Portal, select “Request Unattended Access.”

  7. The client approves Unattended Access with a single prompt. After this, you can connect anytime without further permissions, provided the device is powered on and online.
